Micro Genetic Algorithm to Solve Economic Dispatch in IEEE 30 Bus Transmission System

To produce electric power in a system, it is necessary to find way keep the cost of generator fuel consumption or operating costs entire system minimum by determining combined output each generating unit under constraints load demands and limits generation capacity unit. . This method known as economic generation. The researcher usually using conventional such us Lagrange more modern methods, Artificial Intelligence, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Genetic Algorithm (GA) solve dispatch problem. newest technology Intelligence had invented new dispatch, it’s named micro-Genetic (µ-GA). In this paper, µ-GA applied IEEE 30 Bus Transmission System. Then result will be compared GA. Thus simulation show that has better than System, μ-GA results 568.80 $/h with generated 189.45 MW losses 0.25 30th It 2.64% cheaper GA 1.15% method. Finally, can said case best methods.
